Hi ladies! I'm feeling terribly "down" :( right now and it feels like nothing I try to do succeed! I'm in desperate need of some cheering up, so please, if you have a minute or two to spare, look in my gallery and if you can find anything worth giving positive feedback, I beg of you to do so! :o

You went to Rhodes! I am so jealous. My mother grew up there.

The way you did the title on that page was very impressive. Was that a font? Or did you have to line up individual letter elements to get the title?

The photo of your grandparents is wonderful. But you know that. The page goes together very nicely. I especially like the frame against the paper.

As for Nature's Beauty, all I can say is WOW!

The pair of cat layouts made me sniff and made me laugh. Which is what they were supposed to do.

Your grandmother was a beautiful young girl and you are so lucky to have that photo. Take it from someone who doesn't have one. The layout was very elegant. I wish I had a photo of my mother at that age.

I have noticed that you are scrapping sad subjects. Photos of people and a cat that you love who are no longer with us. Dark background pages. It is possible that the reason that scrapbooking is making you feel sad is that you are scrapping things that would make anyone feel sad.

You do wonderful nature pages. Do some happy Spring pages. Scrap some events that make you feel happy.

There certainly isn't anything wrong with the pages you are doing artistically. You do good work.

I loved your layouts, particularly Simba (as another cat lady!!).

Hope you soon feel more cheery. I think getting out and taking some new pictures is a good suggestion. Wish I had the time!!

You really cheered me up, I feel much better after reading all your posts and the comments to my layouts! I think I might even get a LO or two done today! :)

Scrappysue: It's snowy here and I usually love the winter because I think it's extremely beautiful with the snow and ice. But this winter for some reason has been somewhat different, and I'm really hoping the Spring to come soon!

Starling: Thanks for your very extended comments! Rhodes is such a beautiful place and I would like to go back some day. You won't believe how many photos I took of sunsets that looks just like the ones you see published in magazines or you frame to hang on the wall! I have lots of photos of ancestors, especially from my (maternal) grandmother Inga's side of the family, and I'm already planning on layouts for several of them, because I'm very interested in my ancestors (and actually have my own family tree partly back to about year 1325) and want to make a big collection of heritage LO's.
And thank you very much for pointing out my "sad" theme! I hadn't noticed it myself. I think I'll start right away doing some of those sunset photos from Rhodes (which was actually my honeymoon trip), they sure make me happy now when I'm longing for Spring and the warmth of the sun!

Once again, thanks to every one of you! :D
