I have searched high and low for the answer to this one and can't find it anywhere.
How do you change the color of the text in psp. When I put text onto a layout the box that comes up to type in doesn't have anything to change the color. The tool bar doesn't have anything either.
Please help me if you can.

use the color palette. if you've already typed it in, highlight it in the box and change the color on the color palette box. one of the colors is the fill and the other is the outline/stoke.

Choose your fore and back ground colors before you open the text box.

The foreground color makes the outline of the letter. The background does the fill. If you have different colors for each, you won't normally see the outline color unless you increase the "stroke" width.

You can also type the text using any color, and then go back to edit text, select the text, and then choose the colors in the materials pallette, and change existing properties that way.

This is the problem. I can't find the color pallette for the text. It isn't there and I don't know why. I made my text a vector layer ( I have no idea what that means but I did it) and still can't see a way to change the color of my text. The color of the text does match the LO but it isn't what I would choose for it. kwim?

There shouldn't be a separate color pallette for text. Its the same as if you were choosing a color for a fill or paintbrush. "Materials" is what its called in PSP X.

Does this make sense?
