My girlfriend just gave me my first set of REAL pearls. I'm at home most of the time but Leslie tells me I should wear them anyway. So I am now a pearl wearing leading lady of my house. I don't really think of this as a strange thing, as I remember that in all of the episodes of Leave it to Beaver, June Cleaver wore her pearls. The only problem with this is that I really am more of a Carol Brady type wife/mother who would never be seen in the kitchen without Alice. I just wish I had an Alice.

So now I wonder...who do the rest of you best identify with as leading lady of your household? June Cleaver or Carol Brady? Carol may not have worn pearls but she did look great in those pant suits, didn't she??

:lol: I loved the Brady Bunch. I tell people I grew up in a Brady Bunch family. We had five kids instead of six and no maid, but we were one big happy family.

That was exactly what I was thinking....although Roseanne is in the kitchen and does more housework than I do.....:rofl::rofl:

I was almost going to add Lucy but I figured she'd win by a landslide!

I check the Movie Long Long Trailer out of the library today. I certainly can't do housework now, I have to watch my Lucy movie.

ARGH!! I have that movie on my laptop to watch on my upcoming trip! Wow, great minds think alike :) :D

I think my household may be more like the one in Big Bang Theory. Or, maybe even Seinfeld.

I was June Cleaver for most of my life - now I am settling in to being Roseanne ! LOL

omg - that cracked me UP - roseanne!!! yeah!

can i say that i **WANT** to be carol, but i'm probably more june. definitely more june than i would like!!!

Of the two, I'd probably have to admit to being more of a June, less the pearls. In a *wide open* poll, I'd be Lucy, hands down! :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

Well, seriously, I'd be more June. NO PEARLS tho (no offense Teresa, just not my style).

I'm the cooking, baking, cleaning, taking care of the family's every need type mom. Being a waitress more than I want too ;)

I'm personally more like Roseanne tho, wise cracking, smart aleck, fun to be around mom :)

Ok, I don't believe that so many people have an Alice! Why are they all voting Carol Brady? Is take out their Alice? LOL!

Ohhh yikes, I am way more Carol. But thank goodness I dont have 6 kids a dog and a cat! That is way too much for me! But add an Alice, and maybe I COULD handle it...hmmmmmmmmm.....but can I wear the pearls anyway?? I want to be the pearl wearing Carol!
