This is such a " scrappable" photo I HAVE to choose this one .
SOO we need a swatch to work with - -- make your swatch suggestions

( JUst a note when we come to kit piece suggestions - I want to make the kit as " usable" as possible to as many people as possible so lets keep the suggestions generic and not " bath" or painting" oriented.

With this challenge MonroesDragonfl will get a copy of the kit at the end - and 2 other participants drawn from a random draw also will get a copy

Ok well while I like the 2 schemes presented I see this more of a brighter kit so I think we will go with this colour scheme
http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/data/500/Untitled-183.jpg

Now what sort of backgrounds shall I make.......

Kathleen
08-27-2009, 10:43 PM
Good scheme, Lauren!

How about a spatter background, I was thinking black with splatters.

or ... a natural fiber paper, with flecks of the other colors like they were colored fibers.

Shana34
08-27-2009, 11:06 PM
I love that scheme! How about a background with paint splatters and handprints like on the walls of the tub?

Black with stripes of the other colours

Orange paper with the same coloured dribbles going down the page, a bit like you've just brushed the second coat of paint on and it's dribbling donw the wall.

TalyQ

I love those bead dangles too, very cool... its very difficult not to think along the lines of painting or cleaning or bathroom, but I think a journalling element can fit all... What I was thinking was along the lines of a card that would be stuck beneath the paintings in an exhibit say crossed with and 'ex libris' book feel - a cataloguing card?

yay, I thought that sounded clear in my head, now I typed it sounds loony
... lol... moving along, if you could live in my head, it was a great idea

A fan of paint colours... you know like the Resene colours... it could show hints of other colours schemes and be open at this one. Or actually it could be open at the grey frames... so you could put multiple photos in it, with a great big screw or split pin in the end.
