Design Magazine

I was just looking around at different websites and found the neatest "How to Design" magazine and wanted to tell everyone about it. It's called "Before and After" and it looks perfect for cs. I think you can only get it by subscription at: http://www.bamagazine.com and it's $36/6 issues which at first I thought sounded kind of expensive but it only works out to $6/issue. So, take a look and see what you think. And if anyone has it let us know if you like it.

Hi, alot of those magazines only have a couple of photoshop type articles the rest is devoted to reviews and sales. A real good magazine is Photoshop User. It runs 10.00 a month and it is worth it, but for 99.00 a year you can become a NAPP(National Association of Photoshop Professionals) member. This site have everything, reviews, quicktime tutorials, freebies, and you get discounts on all kinds of toys for being a member. Check it out, you will not be disappointedThey give you retouching techniques (the shortcuts :) and they have digital photography sections also, and you get notices of all the conventions, plus discounts. www.photoshopuser.com

If you live in Australia or NZ I found a great magazine - called Better photoshop techniques - only one issue has been released thus far but it was awesome if you can stomach the $25 price tag!!!

I went down to local paper shop to check out the mag lauren mentioned. The $25 price tag is steep but withing minutes of opening mag i bought! Its jammed packed full of great colour photos and step by step techniques - maybe the trick to getting over price is not to see it as a magazine but a book! WELL worth it - and would look forward to any future issues!
