You have one nominated Kit to use for this challenge:

Scroll down for instructions.

Here is the Collect a Kit you will win by entering both challenges using the nominated products for September Lucky Dips.

Instructions:
Q & A Challenge – Question and Answer.

Part 1 - I’ll ask a question and your challenge is to "answer" the question with your layout. If you have no photos, just use words, or try searching the web for something that will represent your answer (make sure you have permission if you use someone else’s photo)

Part 2 – Use the supplied quote somewhere in your layout

**Layout** Prompt 1: - What was your favourite toy as a child?

**Layout** Prompt 2: - Quote - “The things which the child loves remain in the domain of the heart until old age.” Kahil Gibran

Scroll down for the WA version or create your own using this quote. (Right click on the image and ‘save image as’ to download it)

You Must use the nominated kit - you don’t have to use all the kit and you can use any alpha or fonts.
You Must use the quote somewhere in your LO
You can re-colour the kit as much as you want and make any changes to the pieces that are appropriate for your page.
A Title (Can be the quote supplied or anything else that’s appropriate for your LO)
Journaling (Can included the quote)
Create a LO using the items and prompts listed.

You Can…

…Do any style of LO
…Blend backgrounds
…Re-colour any items used to make the LO cohesive.
…Use any amount of photos or none at all

You Can’t…

…You can’t use a lot of other DSP items if you want the free kit.

Place your LO’s in Erica’s Lucky Dips Gallery (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/../gallery/showgallery.php?cat=6498) or if it’s doing double/triple duty elsewhere I will need a link to your LO in this forum.

Some really simple rules:

Please use only DSP products – nominated product or other.
Must include a title and/or some journaling using the prompt.
Please put your LO in the Erica’s Lucky Dips Gallery if possible or if doing double/triple duty a link in this forum, especially if you intend to do both challenges.
Please comment generously on other member’s layouts in this challenge. I know I don’t really need to ask you that because you’re all so good at it anyway.
Have FUN

If anything is not clear please just ask any questions here :)

Right click on PNG format image and 'save image as' to you computer.

I just found an old heritage photo, of my brother playing with this little toy we used to LOVE as kids. May I use that, even though it is not me in the photo? I have such fond memories of that toy, and there are no photos of me with it.

Yes you can use that photo or any photo or none at all, totally up to you as I know we don't all have a photo or even the toy anymore. :)

I had to do a slight recolor on the BG paper, but otherwise I think this kit was gorgeous for my photo.

Silly question but I just read this again and wondered, are the two challenges to get the freebie both on the one LO or am I supposed to do two seperate ones?

Also are the two challenges the two parts here;
**Layout** Prompt 1: - What was your favourite toy as a child?
**Layout** Prompt 2: - Quote - “The things which the child loves remain in the domain of the heart until old age.” Kahil Gibran

Or is there another thread somewhere?

Sorry charmed for some reason I didn't see this questions :o, better late than never.

I see you have done it correctly anyway :D There will be two different challenges every month that require two separate LO's. I post both challenges at the beginning of the month so you can do them in any order or both at the same time. To get the free kit you need to complete a LO for both challenges using the specified products etc and following any rules (as per your quote for the 2 prompts, there are two in challenge 2). I send the posting bonus out at the end of the month/challenge 2 final deadline. Hope this helps :)

Honest, I didn't put off this second layout. But now I can use it for Featured Designer, too.
