Okay...I am somewhat embarrassed to even have to ask this question.. I am still in FONT 101 here. I have downloaded, unzipped and organized into subfolders (under a My Font folder in My Documents)some fonts I want to try. So I am going to download the font thing program (I have to be honest here..I have downloaded files and such but never a program). When I click on the download button and the window pops up to where do I want to save this to...where do I put it???
I have only loaded programs on my computer off of a CD...and then just let the little wizard guy guide me thru it...
Thanks for your help (and no chuckling please)

YOu can just save the installer file onto your desktop or hit run instead of download. If you save it - then just go to your desktop and click on it and it will run and install TFT into the right place.
No chuckling here: my husband finally refused to download and install things for me anymore, and I felt like I had been thrown overboard into the open sea!
I save things to my desktop becuase it's jus the zip file usually. Then when I extract it, or install the exe, I can browse to the folder where I keep all my program files and save it there. Then I just delete the original downloaded packet from my desktop.
Have fun! I remember how nervewracking, afraid I might lose the software on my hard drive somewhere, anticpating frustration. After a few tries it's easier, in fact REALLY simple. Holler if you have any trouble, we totally understand!!!

Glad you got it. Hopefully you'll feel more comfortable on the next software download. I was nervous about it a long time because I almost never did it. I still have to verify with Troy sometimes, because I forget what to do.
Wait, did I just let my computer-lameness show through?! I meant to say, "Someday everyone will know as much about computers as I do: if you're lucky!" Yeah, that's it...
