I was looking for a different one and will upload that when i find it... but I think that the Cinderella colours are so pretty. I'm not talking of a themed princess kit, but just the lovely liquid colours that disney used for her... and perhaps the textures - brocade and silk...

Lynnie, Delaney is on such a princess kick right now, I will have to show her your photos!

Here is one from me (my Mom actually took the photo):

How about this one (I think the blues with the green and the brown would be a cool combination)

Or maybe this one (the harvest is so inspiring in the fall)

Or here is one more suggestion (love the colors)

My family and friends went on a Carnival Cruise in 2007, they had a Beatles musical, which was fantastic. I thought this was a fun photo, the colors, shapes, etc. are quirky and pretty.

I have a couple from Lake Tahoe that I would love to have a kit for!

This was taken from a fire lookout at Incline Village, north Lake Tahoe.

I took these today, and the kids were dressed in such un-coordinated outfits, I thought it might be a challenge (prolly impossible) to try and combine the colours to make a kit that would work with photos of kids in a mish mash of colours:help:

http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/data/5586/P1050884a.jpg

or this one which would be easier to do a colour swatch for.

Dark blue with a tiny green pin stripe.

i tried green, but the blue looked better :)

I added another grungy light paper, and then the castles, which have taken forever!

Ok, now here's the question.. do you want the castle overlay, the full color castle, or BOTH?

I know Lauren said her kit wouldn't be princess/fantasy, but mine will be :) I haven't done a princess kit before- so direct all those suggestions toward me.

Ok, I have what I think is a cool idea for an element. I saw a necklace the other day that inspired it.
The necklace was a large tumbled stone that was wrapped with loops of copper colored wire. Had little swirls worked into the wire. Then there was a dangle of small beads near the bottom of the stone. It was attatched to the wire.
I was thinking that maybe some swirly curly wire element with a dangle of different colored beads might be nice. Maybe something that we could use the swirls to hold a pic in place. Could even put a few beads on the wire itself.

Lauren, maybe an overlay of some sorts? With a hint of swirlies.
Some gentle flowers - a mini bouquet.
Definitely some ribbons - curled with texture

Ok - I just got back from a long, horrendous business trip and getting ready to hop on a flight to England and I'm bawling like a baby!

Lauren - I know that this is a generic kit - but it will scrap my princess pics forever. I love that it is generic and not specifically princessy. Every time I use it, though, there will be magic in my pictures...

Tina - I love the stuff in there that is JUST for my princess...

Generic, but useful...

Ribbons
Flowers
Parchment scroll (very scrolly for journalling)
Something like the two birds holding the silk hanging fabric like in the one we just did from the Carmel Mission
Or, Lauren, a line of little birds like the ones from Fleurs-de-Provence.
Tina - an oval frame with a crown on top

this is amazing and wonderful and I wish I could sit here all day with suggestions. I am so incredibly excited.

Giant Hugs to you both!

A soft white/light coloured flower with rounded petals (my son thinks this should be a rose) and almost floppy with the green for leaves. Maybe with touches of the blue on the petals.

Maybe a twist of ivy? Possibly in an L shape so that they could go at the bottom of a page or at the bottom of the frame.

Tina... my DS this morning said that there was no frame in this kit and thought that there should be a carriage with 3 windows that could be used as frames.... it's great to be raising a future scrapper don't you think!

- magical wand a la Fairy Godmother style
- wordart! I don't if you can use any of the Disney quotes b/c of copyright, but "a dream is a wish your heart makes" would be lovely wordart! or even Bibbity Bobbity Boo
