There are chat threads for grannies, 20-somethings, cat scrappers, etc. but none for those of us who just scrap ourselves or our families or vacations, because we don't have pets or kids. Let's get to know each other, share why we scrap, and be friends!

I know right now I scrap mostly vacations and family members. I'm doing a lot of heritage lately, but I can't seem to win a heritage week LOL

I try 9 on the 9th but I never seem to be doing anything on the 9th of each month.

Any challenges that are just challenging for you?

I know I have trouble with challenges that assume there are children in my household. Like back to school challenges. Those are hard.

But I still love to scrap and I think by the time I have kids I can make really good books of them!

I can definitely join you being kidless & petless & all in all rather ordinary compared to most of my friends since I don't go out to parties or drink or anything even remotely exciting - the last semi formal dinner out that I went to was the dinner after the DSP crop in May!

Well there's my Extraordinary Me! challenge (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=39969). No pets, no children, just YOU :)

Hey Jennifer! welcome aboard! I am fairly ordinary too LOL

I don't go on cruises, or out to parties or to anything formal. I do travel now and then, so luckily I can scrap vacations, but other than that... pretty boring here too! LOL I just don't get out much ahahah

I should do that one - I've never actually done a layout for that challenge or 9 on the 9th mainly because I'm either super busy or at home all day doing homework/assignments for university.

I think my biggest reason for not scrapping is lack of money for the new kits which means I don't really do the challenges here at least.

yeah I don't have the money to always buy the new kits for the weekly/monthly designer challenges, but I try to do the featured designer, and stretch what I do have. I like the odds n ends challenges mars does, as you don't have to buy anything.

I only wish I didn't have to only use DSP stuff, as I have tons of freebies from all over the web but if I want to win a prize I can't use those.

But lots of free challenges around here too. I like the E-Me one Jeanet does as I can easily scrap about me! It's a great one!

Me too! Especially since I'm on other CT's I have heaps of other stuff now that I have ended up on a store CT (kind of helped me get over the DET round 1 recjection)

wow on a CT that's awesome! I couldn't imagine being a good enough scapper to do that.
