My shadows are not working...

HELP!!!!! please... :pray::pray::pray::pray:

I am using PSE 6.0 for mac, but I have heard of this happening on PSE 5.0 on Windows too. I select the shadow and apply it and I don't see it. I do an edit of the shadow and if I DESELECT the PREVIEW button I see the shadow :doh:

OH I don't have an answer for ya. I hope you are able to figure it out though. Surely someone will be along to help with this. I have not come across this problem....yet. My day is coming, Im sure! :-)

Oh, I can't help either; I know nothing about PSE or macs! :( Sorry...someone should be along shortly to help.
