I've spoken to Tina and she's keen to be involved with this again - so post your photos and we will choose one for the next round of kits . (If you want to include a colour scheme with your photo then go ahead)!

This is a picture I took on the fly. My niece and nephew were in the apple bins so I couldn't take what I would have liked, but I'm hoping to go back tomorrow for some pics. I did a more autumn color scheme from it.

Tina, I want to know what those delectable looking bites are, and how you make them!!

mmmmmmmmmmmm Puffins.

Also known as Pancake Muffins. Some are plain and some are choco chip. They are mini muffins. The recipe makes 24. Will be quick and easy to pop in the micro before school. Much better than frozen pancakes!

Named already... I have been busy away from the site.... and it's named already.

So bg's?

Muffin textured in the goldy colour with touches of brown around the edges.

One of the blue colours with swirls of chocolate/maple syrup brown all over it.

Actually the dark blue with the light blue stamped over it could look good.

Off to speed scrap now.

Tina - the light yellow with grungy look, kind of like the texture/look of the muffins

Lauren - The light teal with some diagonal stripes in the darker teal and darker brown.

Tina - Caramel colour with circley starbursts of the other colours... overlapping.. different sizes.

Lauren - dark blue with swirls of the brown or caramel on it. Or maybe a bg of mother of pearl.

okay I'm going to get ahead of the game and suggest an element already because I thought it up this morning.

A pat (square) of butter that sizzling in a fry pan with all its cool bubbles. Now I'm too lazy to get a fry pan out and get a photo for ya but you all are way better cooks than I am so I know you'll have no problem knowing the look I'm thinking of. I'm thinking of just those cool bubbles but hey if one of these kits goes the route of baking type elements, the pat of butter would be cool to have in there too.

LOL, I love just looking through these and noticed this. We rarely have buttermilk but I've been told to add about a Tablespoon of lemon to a cup of milk and let it set for about 5 min for substitute buttermilk. The other day we were out of lemon, too, so I used a little vinegar.

I love the colors in this kit. Making me feel like sitting down and cozying up with a cup of tea and making me imagine a steaming kettle on a rustic stove.

Lauren, love the little brads. Tina, love the brown paper, too!

Tina, if you are ready for elements, using the pattern in the brown paper, could you use those flowers for inspiration for photo corners in some sort of metal?

Lauren, some sort of tag that would hang from the wire element.

We did make puffins this morning for breakfast and they were yummy! Some plain, some chocolate chip, some with blueberries (they were my favorite). Delaney thought the dunking in syrup was pretty good! I did take pictures ... will have to post later.

I will try blueberries for myself, but Tate doesn't like them. I'm going to try a mashed up banana too for banana bread pancakes!

I'm making these up on sunday now, and bagging them for the week, then I just pop a few in the micro and boom, Tate's breakfast is done. Much better than the nasty frozen pancakes he usually eats!

Funny, Delaney loves blueberries, but doesn't want them in pancakes of puffins (this was even before she was introduced to the possibility of chocolate chips in them), and I don't like blueberries plain, but love them in pancakes and muffins. Go figure!

We had left overs this morning, and I popped one in my mouth for a tasty afternoon snack!

Oh wait! There are 13 pieces!!!!!!!!!!!! EEK! what should we ditch? I vote the brown paper. The brown elements still go fine w/o it.

Both are lovely, lovely kits; it's always fun to see them develop. Thanks ladies. Just wondering who won the kits this round? And are we going to do another Gimme?

Winners of my kit were chanmansmom and wuvie - if you pm me i will send you a link to the kit.
Im not doing another gimme right now because Im having to leave my house for a few days this week while the builders do some heavier work , also participation hasnt been that great for the last few of these and it makes it very slow when no ideas are forthcoming . SO perhaps we can do it again at a later time when less is going on maybe
