oooooo I'm so excited :D
a royal carpet to put before that cool archway - but not in the traditional red color - but instead with multiple colors (the kit's purple/green/orange) - maybe with tassled ends on it
Scrapping4Him
09-25-2009, 05:29 PM
a solo ribbon like the ones used in the main kit - with a little bit of twisting to it but not too tight

bg paper: a castle wall - in the same style vein as the arch
oh wait - your one paper is already in that color - so maybe a rough textured overlay - to get the effect of an old crumbling stone wall
   okay I think it's time I go get my eyes checked  I think your paper has a texture on it

A Jester's hat, a frame of the ribbons in the original kit, tutus in the kit's colors, fairy sparkle, fairy hair, funny gargoyles, paper in harlequin pattern and a little cute bat in the corner... ;-)

I love the jester's hat idea. How about a swirly overlay, or glitter swirls?

I think she means a harlequin pattern. Most jester suits are patterned like that.

How about some bells like on a jester's suit? Or a joker card?

A white horse, a stone path for him to ride on, a princess tiara, I like the enchantment word art to go along with the hear ye. Might even have a pumpkin and a hay bale, some princess flowers to make a groupie with. (Okay, I have no idea what princess flowers are, but they would be 'girlie' and in the matching colors as the ribbons and have some ribbons to tie them with!)

are you uploading to our gallery or trying to put in in photobucket or something, I know some people had trouble with that

I made it 6"X3" and made it in PSE 7. I don't know what photobucket is. I know I am doing it wrong, or it would turn out. I have tried several ways and they are all too tiny to read. I like your size Christine. and Shana. I tried using the template from the original kit and it was even less readable.
Shana34

I started out with my width at 600 by 200 pixels. I didn't resize or anything, so I knew exactly how it was going to look while I was doing it. I used the templates for the slider and grid, etc, but did the rest by eye. Hope that helps. :D

So I should be using pixels instead of inches??
Shana34
09-28-2009, 07:28 PM
Well it will translate the same. I think 600 is 3 inches? and 200 is 1? So if you want to use inches that would be how it would go. :D

Okay, I redid it again, lets see if it took. If I can read it it did and if not ... back to the drawing board!

Are you linking from the page where you get your full image? Or the thumbnail page?
Christine
09-28-2009, 09:45 PM
yeah start with your image size 600 pixels x 200 pixels, then don't resize. It doesn't matter what resolution you choose. The number of pixels is all that counts.

ok back to suggestions, anybody want to claim the idea to do a little mouse? I think that would be cute in here. :)

I think you should do a little mouse! LOL I agree that it would be cute. How about a few ribbons like in the scepter to scatter around the page?
