I am wondering if anyone out there knows what to do when you have Artscow's Microsoft Silverlight software installed on your hard drive, but when you go to use it in Artscow, you get a message saying it is not installed. I am using a PC with Vista.
the funny thing is that I have Vista on my laptop and it works.

1. went to the silverlight web site - it said to uninstall and reinstall - dont his with no luck.
2. another site suggested making sure you have the latest installs for windows Vista
3. Arstcow site said to install Firefox - have not done this
4. checked the laptop's firewall settings and configured the PC the same - no luck
5. turnied off the firewall, re-booted - no luck.
6 hit my head against the brick wall - no luck -it still doesn't work.

Does anyone out there have any ideas?

Kathleen, I am a bit dumb about this. If I install firefox can I still use iNTERNET eXPLORER? How do I change. Just a bit scared to try it out.

They are two separate programs. You can have them both installed on your computer at the same time and use whichever one you like. You can even have them both open at the same time. Typically, when you install a browser it wants to be your default browser, so my only advice is when you install Firefox, if you want IE to remain your default browser, don't let Firefox take on that responsibility. Make sense?
