Greetings,
I am just beginning my digital scrapbook and I have a quick question. I am using PhotoShop 6 and would like to create two page spread (12X12) each using a photograph as the background. So far, I have been unable to find anything, anywhere to assist. How is it done? Do I open a photo and using grids crop it down the middle? HELP!
Thanks,
Penny
P.S. - I do have some background with PS.

Welcome, Penny! You can do it many different ways. I'd suggest the best way is to do them as seperate 12x12 layouts, placing them side-by-side in your albums when they are done. The best reason for this is that a 12x12 layout is BIG and can suck the resources from your computer. If you don't plan to print them for albums, you can resize each layout when done (to the size you might share via email or on this website) then combine them for a 12x24 look.
Hope this helps? There are other ways and I am sure there will be other opinions shared.
Enjoy and welcome!

If I understand correctly you want to take on photo and use it for a full 2 page background. Couldn't you set up the page to be 12x24, prepare the full background photo, then crop it into 2 section of 12x12. I have never done this - cut/crop out left 12x12 section, save it in its own file - and do the same for the right side. Don't know if it will work - just a thought?
