How about the dark brown textured with green and gold stitched leaves on it? :D

I'm picturing:
the light brown with a scratched and shabby grid in the orange,
a paisley or florentine swirl design in green and brown on red with just a hint of yellow,
a dark brown with stamped leaves in the brighter colors.

Thanks for picking my colors!!! Don't know if this would be a backgroung or a element - but I would really love to see a overlay with a border of fall leaves. For a background something using the yellow and green - maybe swirlled together.

A dark textured like material BG with the yellow flowers stamped/diecut up one edge or clustered in a corner?
A lime greeen BG (go on I dare you!!!) with some chocolate swirls!

Oh, I just love these colors!!
I really like those yellow star-like flowers in the picture so how about a bg with some type of yellow-flower-starburst thingy sporadically placed...either tone on tone and a bit grungy, or whatever your designer eye sees fit!
I'd also like to see a bg in the chocolate brown---just the brown----either textured, plain, grunged, grid, tone on tone, whatever. I really like that color and I just don't have enough of it!!

the light brown with a scratched and shabby grid in the orange,
a paisley or florentine swirl design in green and brown on red with just a hint of yellow----I like these suggestions from moog25.

Ohh I love these two backgrounds, especially the green & brown one! :D

Hmm... ohh boy I can get started on elements... I don't have any really GOOD ideas but how about some green & red apples, a little swirly cluster of flowers similar to the ones in the colour scheme photo, and maybe a hammered metal or copper frame or other similar element?

Shana34

I would love to see a red and green mottled background - kind of like an apple's skin? As far as elements, I would love things that you could group well with...an apple, leaves, a pumpkin a couple flowers maybe?

I hope I can relay this in a way that you can understand it....several irregularly sized squares in handmade looking hammered brass, randomly connected by short lengths of the same metal, to use as frames or on a smaller scale as a border or to cluster under a photo. Clear as mud, right?

These are looking great! I'd love to see a green background, maybe a "jute" textured one.

i see a wire element. maybe a swirl to match the lime green, a leaf, an apple, or a pumpkin. something to match the back ground.

Two more backgrounds, a metal scrolled overlay, swirly flowers, scattered leaves and some loose stitching. Still working on some more flowers and the hammered metal frame.

Any more element suggestion?

This is looking fantastic - Love the metal swirly thingy! You can never have enough of those in your stash!! Great to see another green BG too. You are working on a frame so how abut something to dangle or fold over a frame? Not sure what - maybe a ribbon with a pendant type thingy on it that could be hooked onto the swirly thingy or the frame.

It's beautiful Erica...

Since you are making a metal frame... how about a metal pin to match

so, we can attach to flowers.... etc.

and, some kind of Vellum or paper stripes for journaling... (maybe out of one of the lighter colors)...

or a date (not a stamp... ) but a creative place for a date... in your creative way...

How about a mesh gold ribbon and bow

I would like to see something for journaling perhaps an old fashioned book plate, an old aged note paper (but no lines) with some stains.

An old fashioned or decorative paper clip or maybe even a hair clip to hold down papers

Ooh! I love how this is turning out. Can't wait to see thr frame you come up with.
