OKAY!!! i've been hunted down and am now duct taped to my chair until i spill all the beans about our kiss challenges!!!
so, here's what i'm thinking... i REALLY miss our 2-page yearly album thing. and we just happen to have 10 weeks until christmas (uhm, holy crap, by the way!)! so. if we do 1 or two 2-page spreads each week until then, we can get an album finished by christmas (just in time to print it out and wrap it up to put under the trees of special family and friends!). it will be cutting it close, but *i* really want to get a 2009 album done for christmas presents.... and since it's all about suz, that's exactly what we're going to do!
i've been racking (wracking?) my brains trying to figure out how to get it all done, and would love to have your input. what would YOU like to use? would you like 2page ploppers? or a ginormous collection (maybe two that are coordinating) and some quick clicks? of course we'll need some fonts... and do you have color preferences? style preferences (i.e., grungy, stamped, "dressy", doodley, etc)? personally, i'd like the entire album to be cohesive in style, color, and design, but i might be slightly crazy.
oh, and we'll have weekly chats to work on our projects!!! it will keep ME on task, and be a fun way to get together for a few giggles!!! i'm fired-UP about it!
so, we'll have to work fast and hard on these, but i think it will be really really fun! what we need to do first is decide what to use for our albums - i'm making at least two surveys so we can vote on what types of products we'll use - popular majority will win.
we'll take this week to organize this, and officially begin next week. BUT, we'll run a regular kiss challenge this week to get to use my new collection, cause it's awesome.... if i do say so.... ;) i'll give details on that in another thread so we don't get too confused.
AND, during this week, let's get some of our pics organized! go through your january and february 09 pics and select your very favorite bunch from those two months. tell a story about something memorable (or something you want to MAKE memorable!). don't kill yourself trying to get a full representation of EVERY thing that happened. pick something that you can tell a story about. if you want, and have tons of time, you can go through more months.... but let's try to get at least jan and feb done next week. :)
