Challenge 2 – Math Equation – Deadline date for November is the 29th

You can win a free kit just by following the rules and playing along by completing the 2 challenges for this month.

You can do the challenges in any order and at any time during the months challenge but you must have completed them by the deadline date.

Please note that to get the free kit by completing this month Lucky Dips Challenges I will accept a small amount of other DSP product, like WA or Alphas but your LO’s must use my products predominantly, whether nominated or allowable extras. Instructions:
A favourite prompt for our second challenge…

- Math Equation - Using this equation create a LO. ONLY these items can be used but you can cut, crop, blend and re-colour all/any of the items to make new shapes or elements. Example – you can make a mat from one of the papers and re-colour it but remember it will count as a BG use.

1 Overlay + 2 Circle or Oval Shapes + 3 Background Papers = 6 Photos

**Layout** Prompt:
Create a layout using the above equation and the following set of ‘rules’

Any Style LO

Use 1 Overlay

Use 2 Circle Shapes – You can use elements in the kit or create these from the BG papers but they will count as the use of that BG paper ie you can’t use it again.
Use 3 Background Papers – any way you want.
Use 6 Photos– You can’t use one photo across 6 frames, they all have to be different but you can use them as backgrounds etc – be creative.

You Must use at least one item out of each of the nominated products
You don’t have to use all the kit and you can use any alpha, fonts or WA.
You can re-colour the kit pieces and make any changes to the pieces that are appropriate for your page within the prompt rules.
A Title anything that’s appropriate for your LO.
Journaling or not, up to you.
Create a LO using the items and prompts listed.

Place your LO’s in Erica’s Lucky Dips Gallery (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/../gallery/showgallery.php?cat=6498) or if it’s doing double/triple duty elsewhere I will need a link to your LO in this forum.

Some really simple rules:

Please use only DSP products – nominated product or other.
Please comment generously on other member’s layouts in this challenge. I know I don’t really need to ask you that because you’re all so good at it anyway.
Have FUN

If anything is not clear please just ask any questions here.

Erica, I assume that the equation allows us to add elements from the kit to the LO, in addition to the overly, circles and background papers? I have never done this challenge before, so I just want to be clear on the rules before I start!

Sorry  ONLY the items in the prompt can be used but you can cut, crop, blend and re-colour all/any of the items to make new shapes or elements. Example – you can make a mat or frame from one of the papers and re-colour it but remember it will count as a BG use. And some of those 6 photos could be made into circles or ovals like brads etc ;)

Hope this helps!
