I noticed in some of the kits they have photoshop layouts...can these be used in PSP or other programs? Hesitant about purchasing because of uncertainty.

Kits are able to be used in all programmes which support transparent pngs - it is the templates which are programme specific

And the templates for Photoshop (in PSD format) can also be opened in PSP with layers in tact.
