I need help to access the chat! Please!!! I'm desperate!

:confused: :mad: Everytime I try to access DSP chat, I get the "action canceled" message.

It has to do with my new laptop, but I don't know what settings to change.

I can access the chat from my old pc, but not my new laptop.

Old pc is Windows, Me
Laptop is Windows, XP

Both are with IE6

I can get email on both, acess the internet on both, but can only acess the chat on old pc.

Both have anti-virus and Firewall, but old pc has McAfee
and laptop has Nortons.

Please help! I really want to figure this out so I can partake in the chats with my DSL rather than the dialup on my old pc. Besides, with my laptop, I can play (online) while my children play outside and I can be with them.

just disable it for your chat time, that works for everyone i think. Ü

I have Norton firewall and I couldn't access chat after I did an update. I got a very specific error though "URL_Directory_Traversal" Intrusion detection. I am to chicken to disable the the whole firewall, so I just disabled that intrusion on nortons. Not sure if this helps or not
