Survivor finale (warning: spoilers possible!)

not giving a spoiler just yet, just wanted to warn anyone just in case we did! what did you think of the big finale??? quite a few wows!!!! should have, but i didn't see the first thing coming (will you...)! very, very interesting evening i must say! anyone else watch it? thoughts?! Ü

I was glad some people voted AGAINST Rob instead of FOR Amber (did she really do anything to earn that win?). And I was REALLY glad we get to help award another $1M. No secret who I am going to vote for! GO RUPERT!!! :p

I didn't watch much of the season...but I watched it. I was laughing so hard. I missed that part with the person who left...give me details!
I think I'm going to vote for Rupert too!

Ok, what were you surprised at Margie? That Jenna voted Rup off? or that Rob proposed to Amber? I was surprised at Jenna, why? I dunno... NEVER liked her in either season. The proposal? I wasn't suprised at all. I saw it coming. Now, I must admit, it gave me a softie spot for Rob! LOL! I never liked him much...... He also looked pretty cutie last night, I always hated that pencil thin mustache, was VERY glad to see it gone.......

I thought Lex was WAY over reacting, and omg, I thought I'd NEVER say this.. but I TOTALLY agreed with Hatch!

I missed the Jerri thing too. Was flipping back and forth btwn Survivor and Harry Potter, wanted to see the Prisoner of Azkaban behind the scences (I taped it too! ;))

Yup yup yup,,, Ruppy getting my million dollar vote!! He is just TOO nice to win this game any other way. And I think he could really use it. go Rup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no, i didn't see the proposal coming, should have tho. jenna/ethan surprised me. hatch, and i hate to say it too of course, but is a very smart guy. i was glad he finally admitted it was harder than he thought too!
jerri tried to talk and got booed, so she left during commercial. no biggie, she just doesn't like being the bad guy.
too funny, i thought rob looked so much better on the island!! :D
jenna had to vote rupert off, she'd have been stupid not to. if she didn't, it would have been a tie, then she would have had a chance to leave (drawing three rocks). this way she had no chance of leaving and a chance to win immunity, so it was her only choice really.
lex and all of them who argue you can lie but not at this point are morons. they all had to lie at some point, changing where you get mad about the lies is stupid! tho colby did a pretty good job of just not saying instead of lies.
sue, quite the shocker. i didn't think she'd be there. the car deal with amber was pretty cool. too funny that rob had to make that decision too! Ü

I have followed the show through radio updates or Letterman updates but it always interfered with Friends so I never watched it during the season. I did watch it last night.

I thought Rob looked better last night than on the island- sure he has put on the pounds but I liked him clean shaven rather than all hairy. And I thought the proposal was so sweet!

Sue really did have a lot of work done. I was kinda surprised she was there after her explosive exit from the show.

I thought what Shii Ann said during the last tribal council was true- let he who lives in glass houses throw the last stone. Everybody was so bitter and I understand that it goes along with the game. But at the same time- it is just a game and how the people are during the game could be completely different off the game. You cant tell me that Lex and Alicia never did anything to piss anybody off or double cross anybody. And hell yeah- I would totally go for the stack of green over some of those people. Friendship on a 30 something day show is probably one that is not going to last. People came on the show to win $1 mil and I would do everything I could to stay in the game! I was glad that Amber gave Shii Ann the car!

Wow- that is a lot to comment on for someone who rarely ever watched during the season. I hope Rupert wins the money although I do like Rudy too!

sue had a huge makeover, surgery-wise. and ethan and jenna (who lost her mom, can't remember her last name) are an item. two millionaires, so sweet! :rolleyes: and also, jenna (the single mom) just got married last weekend! Ü

Ethan has dated ALL the girls from ALL the Survivor seasons. Seriously. But I think Ethan is a cutie so... go Ethan! I was upset for Jerri and I would have left too. She didn't even get a sentence out and the entire audience at Madison Suqare garden booed her. That's sad. I don't know why, but I kinda liked Jerri this season. I think she got a bad rap. What surprised me was Amber acting like she didn't know Rob was going to propose on the show. If you watch, she was not surprised, she totally knew. Pah-lease. And Rich, though an ass, sometimes says valuable things. I thought he was right on last night. And wasn't it cute to see Hatch in love? LOL

ethan would split it up between all the survivors' favorite charities. jenna would give it all to breast cancer research in honor of her mom. the other jenna (third place) said give it to rupert!!!!!! rob c said he'd give half to rupert and take big tom out to dinner. :D sue threatened everyone who didn't. tina said she didn't need it, give it to someone who would do good with it. jerri wants to start a new reality show that's positive instead of negative (tough night for her obvoiusly!) anyway, worth watching! Ü

OH MY GOSH - I soooooo missed so many things in the re-cap show. I was glued to the tv for 2 hours, saw the proposal and the winning of the million and then a thunderstorm kicked up, knocking out our satellite. So I discovered the Jerri incident and the voting for the other million - but I MISSED ALOT of other stuff :((

What's this with Amber giving the car up???

No...she got the Chevy Equinox but there was a second car to give away and they let Amber chose who to give the 2nd car to. She chose Shii Ann after consulting with Rob.

Too bad the storm hit- it was really good!
