Hi Everyone!

As most of you know DSP is going to be offering classes in our University and I have recently taken over the formation of this program....we have posted the first set of classes we will be offering , they start on June 1st-so don't forget to register!

But we will need some help from you so that we can be sure we are offering courses that will be beneficial to all of you!

Each class will be a four week class that will include tutorials, chats, and yes, even homework! Each class will be taught by different instructors who excel in that specific skillset....

So, I would love to hear your thoughts on what you would like to see offered, and I am looking for unique ideas!

-Is there a specific scrapping style you would like to learn?
-Is there a program that you would like to see a class on?
-How about fonts, word art etc...
-How about a writing class, how to journal better etc.....

These are just some ideas but I would love to see some ideas from everyone! THis is your opportunity to share what you would love to learn but have been afraid to ask!!!! :-)

You can email me at jill@digitalscrapbookplace.com or post here if you would like!

I look forward to hearing LOTS of suggestions!!!!

Thanks!

journaling class would be awesome...Can y'all teach that? Cuz I figured either you were good at it or you weren't. I know I stink at it.

I actually took a creative writing class through our community college, and it was amzing...I am actually a lousy writer....but with the right teacher they can really help you learn to think differently when it comes towriting...I would love to take another class when I get more time....it was just a though though...I know journaling is something a lot of people have trouble with..and how to find the perfect quote etc...

well I think quotes are easier for me...but I see people write their journaling with such loving detail and flowery words...That is amazing to me....I guess maybe I should be writing in the moment? :)

I would really love to learn how to do digital scrapbooking.
How do these classes work?
I would really love to take a course on beginners digital scrapbooking.
I was trying to sign up but it said something like, to be mailed?
That is where I got confused and would like to know how it works.
I really wouldn't want a CD mailed to my house.

Thanks,
Jennifer

Welcome Jennifer,
You were probably looking at one of our CDs and not one of our classes. I would first suggest you look at our free class Digital Scrapping 101 (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/university/Scrapping101/basics.shtml). What program are you planning on using? You can also take a look at some of our basic Quick Classes in the University. If you plan on using Photoshop, you can take DSU 103 - Introduction to Digital Scrapbooking with Adobe Photoshop. The class is $20 for 4 weeks. You will be sent an indepth tutorial with examples and an assignment. Your instructor will have office hours in the chat room and will make herself available by email as well to answer questions. It would be a great way to learn!

I have PS7, but don't know how to even start doing a layout.
I really want to learn.
I think I will join the DSU 103

Thanks,
Jennifer :)
