This,http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/../gallery/data/518/thumbs/1-smart-girl.jpg (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/../gallery/showphoto.php?photo=354284) One Smart Girl (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/../gallery/showphoto.php?photo=354284) is a LO re-do of http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/../gallery/data/518/thumbs/deploma-in-hand.jpg (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/../gallery/showphoto.php?photo=354223&ppuser=72164) Diploma In Hand (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/../gallery/showphoto.php?photo=354223&cat=500&ppuser=72164). As I previously posted (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/showpost.php?p=822140&postcount=20), I was not at all happy with the first page.
My online friends, Fran and Betsy were both very quick to help me realize one of the reasons why I did not like the original. It was very lacking in the details. I usually put more heart into a page and due to the subject of this one the journaling should have been almost gushing. But it wasn’t. I didn’t even get her NAME on the page. LOL
Then Mandy noted that the page conveyed the feeling of keepsakes(I read "things") which is really not what I wanted the page to be about. Mandy was also spot on in that the graduation invitation might not be clicking for me. And it wasn’t, Jessica didn’t even participate in the ceremony, so WHY was I (she who is not about THINGS) forcing the issue.
Wow you girls are GREAT! You may not know me (in the real world sort of way) but you were able to see right through that fake page. DSP is a fantastic community inhabited with the most genuine folks. I could surf the net forever and never find a better place to live!
