Hi I am not sure if this is what you are looking for, but this is what I do.
A search on google or searching the forums here for grunge brushes to download, then use them in PSP to grunge up your paper or photo's. You can set the density, hardness and opacity to change the way the look...hth :)

Thanks Haley,
This is a general question dO you have to convert the extensions on the files downloaded before they work.
I tried converting the abr direct to pspbrush that didn't work.
Most are abr and unreadable in PSP. I heard if I can get into PSD file format I can then save as a new brush but they wont convert from abr to psd direct to do that. Says its not a PSD file.
There are a few I've got that are PSP brush format which is great
Anyone got tips on how to convert the other brush files into PSP format
I am using PSP 9
Many Thanks
Sue

I was also asking this question at the end of Meryls chat today so thought I'd let you know what I found as a few people were interested and searching the web looks like there is a common compatibility issue. (I'm glad I am not the only one who thought they were going bonkers)
With files that have abr or jbr extensions you can't put straight into the brush folder in PSP 9.
I went to File>Import> custom brush and then the file I wanted then that automatically put it into the brush folder.
They are then converted into the correct PSP format.
I've read that using too many brushes can slow PSP 9 down so I will need to work out how to better file the brushes...
but thats for another day...
finally off to play with the brushes.
woohoo the simple things in life that make us happy...

Thanks for posting that. I have dowloaded tons of brushes and I can't get hardly any of them to work. I'm off to try your trick.
Thanks
