Following the success of the baby album challenge - you requested another theme - which theme would be your pick?- if you have other ideas let me know here I will add them to the poll

I voted for school years. I think it would be the most "useful" topic of the four suggested because not only could I scrap my daughter's and grandson's school years, but also my own.
Once again, in my case, there are very few photos. I'm only aware of two that ever existed that were actually school oriented, other than a few photos taken on my High School graduation day, and I may or may not have either of them. I bet I'm not the only one with the problem. ;)
Anyway, not only would I enjoy doing a bunch of these, but I'd love to see how others do them.

I voted for vacations and holidays because we all have something from that category and i have a ton that need to be done BUT ... any of the themes sound great. Have girls and a boy so that would work either way, and as for school years, even if we don't use conventional schools, I have a ton of photos of our brand of schooling :-) All great ideas! Thanks Lauren!! (now if I can just readjust my family's schedule so I can participate LOL!

I voted for boys.. i love all my children dearly as I have three boys and three girls . the girls always seem to have the pretty dresses and pretty pages as it seems its easier to make a scrapbook page for a girl so i would love to see more for boys ;)

Well I scrap my boy all the time so would be great to get some ideas for holiday albums. I have loads of photos to catch up on and also going away for a big Europe trip in 2 months so want to get lots of different ideas on how to do my holiday shots when I get back.

i think a blurry photo challenge would be fun. you know where you take a photo you love but it's sadly blurry, and you make the layout work anyway.

We certainly have had a lot of discussion with newbies about blurry photos lately. It might be nice to have some new examples for the next round of questions.

Just wanna say I agree with you on this :)
...except for the number of children... lol... I have two boys and a girl - and it's easier to scrap for girls...

Well, I, too, voted for Vacations. I have lots more pictures from our various vacations than I do of the girls in school activities.

I also voted vacations & holidays. That's when I tend to take most pictures and most of my vacation pics are digital.

i'd personally like to see you do a "scrap margie's photos" theme. think that would fly? i'll just divy them out and you all have at them. i'll just sit back and print when you're finished. ;) now that would be a good theme! for me anyway... :D

now, margie, i bet for 2 free kits for every completed layout, you'd have a lot of takers! :D

I know (well think) you were joking, but really this isn't a bad idea. I have seen many posts that mention "I don't have kids", "old photos", etc. I personally don't join swaps, because I don't have many pictures with people to swap. I would think that looking at what to do with someone else's pictures might get those creative juices flowing.
Anyway, without refinement, I am thinking of a gallery where people could post pictures that they are either are having a problem with, looking for a fresh idea, etc. and let the members go for it. Details of rules/guidelines http://www.cowd.net/cowdmb/emoticons/shrug.gif.

I do participate in a lot of the challenges...baby (granddaughter), heritage, etc. But my travel photos are just sitting here. I wanted to do a mini-album of all the places we have visited but, in 26 years, there are just too many. A challenge would certainly help.
Should I go out and buy the album? Naw...I better wait until after Christmas.

I'm on vacation for seven months out of the year and have thousands of photos from the past four years so voted for vacation. How about our favorite vacation photos instead of limiting ourselves to a place and time?

What about a vacation challenge like the heritage where every week is a specific topic, for example, favorite building stayed in, most fun recreational activity, funny story or something like that. These specifid ones really make you think.

Maureen -
I really like your idea! It will probably be May before I can join any type of weekly challenge though - at least if I have to have it in on time. We'll be on the road and without internet access most of the next three weeks.

I voted for boys but vacations also work for me. I would also like to see a page kit that I could do for my son's service in Iraq - Army National Guard - a hero page for the Army....

I wish I had been here for the baby shower kit. We are giving my dil a shower here for her 4th child. She lives in Gray Ga, close to Macon. She doesn't know a lot of people there, but she knows bunches here. Is there any way I can get the baby shower kit?

I voted school years b/c I have tons of pictures of them I have been 'meaning to' get out, organize, and scrap........some misc early family photos, all my mom's, from 1950 on, then mine, (my mom never missed a beat, I have ALL my school pics!) and then my three kids......and I have numerous ideas for them, and stories, like when my gramma burnt the one room school house down around 1912.....etc etc!

I voted for vacations and holidays, I love to see the wonderful pages people do of their children but we don't all have children and I have heaps of holiday snaps still looking for a layout, a bit of motivation would be great.

I wouldn't mind either however, I think the vacations or school days would be more generic for scrappers. I voted Vacations as I have hundreds of holiday photos waiting to be scrapped and equally I have loads of school day pics to.

I realize I am late in the game with this suggestion, but maybe for the future polls? A garden theme? So many different types of gardens, rock, rose, flower, vegetables, water, and some I am probably forgetting about, I could see this is as a great theme.
