View Full Version : curling corners tutorial?
Does anyone know of a PSE tutorial for curling corners? I did one in the attached LO, but was faking my way through using a PSP tutorial. I don't think my way was the easiest method. I'd love to find one geared toward my program. Thanks!

Sorry can't help with the tutorial Meg but I can point you to a plugin that works great and makes lovely page curls :)
Mac's Page Curl (http://www.pspug.org/filters/filtersff.shtml) near the bottom of the page under Mark McLaren.
Thanks Karen, but those plugins are for PSP and I have PSE. That's okay though, I'll keep practicing doing it manually. Maybe I'll find an easier way and I'll be the one to write a tutorial! ;)

MommyMeg have you checked our our review of Page Curl 2.0 Pro by Av Bros (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/featured/pagecurl2pro.shtml)
This might be what you are looking for.

There is a plug-in for PSE!! Mark McLaren made "Mac's Page Curl" work for photoshop/pse, and you can get it here:
http://pluginspt.pluginshost.com/FreePlug/mark.html
I downloaded the one at the bottom of the page (page curl II) and it works great.
Check out this thread:
http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3730
it talks more about page curl and this plug-in.
Oh my gosh! It's disgusting how easy that was compared to how hard I worked to do it manually!!!!!
Thank you all so much for all the info, it all really helped.
I'm off to curl my heart out! :D

Its also for PS, its the same one mentioned further down in this thread, Macs Page Curl :)
I also show a super fast, easy way to do it in my PSE 261 class with no plugins, can be either folded or curled. If you're into making your own page elements you'll LOVE the class!
Thanks, I'm just starting to try things like that. The class info says I have to take DSU160 first. How firm is that? I feel like I know my way around digital scrapping and PSE enough to be past that. But then again, I know you could show me things I wouldn't even think of to try. :o
Prerequisites are totally up to you. You're right on both counts: you'd do fine in 261, and you'd learn some great new tricks in 160. So grab whichever you'd like. I need to get that store entry changed so it just says it's totally up to you :) I get a lot of emails asking permission and I always reply...you know what's coming :D
Would love to have you, whatever you decide! Looking at both Syllabi will help a lot so you can see exactly what's covered.
