I went straight to Microsoft -- please go read what they have to say HERE (http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/assistance/HA011243961033.aspx) because they discuss copyright, which we all need to be aware of. They also give the following instructions for Windows XP:
Send a font with your presentation
If you have the right to share a font, but the font isn't embeddable, you can make a copy of the font file and send that copy with the presentation. If you do send the font with the presentation file, be sure to tell the file's recipient how to install the font on their system.
To make a copy of the font on a computer running Windows XP:
1. Open Windows Explorer.
2. Navigate to the folder <Drive>:\WINDOWS\Fonts.
3. Right-click the file with your font's name and click Copy on the shortcut menu.
4. Browse to the folder that contains your presentation.
5. Right-click and click Paste on the shortcut menu.
The font file appears in the directory and you can send it with the file.

The font is installed on the system.

ThanksPam for quick reply. I will go read the selection. It is a real problem to know where all the fonts came from. Ido know what is resident in XP. And the ones I got from PCCrafter and LD Fonts are easily reconnizable. The other I have gotten From who knows where. I haven't gone font hunting untill I got here DSP but those I have down loaded I have in a seperate file.
I have over a 1000 fonts loaded on my machine and I have no idea where they came from. I do like to respect copyrights.
Any way thanks so much for coming to my rescue.

Just learned something new LOL. If you go into the font folder and select font and click open. It will open up and give you all the information about the font. When it was made, by whom andabout the copyrights. I wondered how on earth I was going to figure that out.
Happy Fonting.
