Speedscrap marathon - august 17th

Im posting this in several places so it gets seen !!

We are having our first ever Speedscrap marathon at DSP -
It will be on August 17 and it will run from
3.30pm right through to 1.30 am the following morning - thats 10 hours of speedscraps!!!!!
BUt we are making it a little easier than it sounds - we will have a new host and a new inspiration every 90 minutes - so you will have an hour to scrap your layout and then half an hour break until the next inspiration is posted .

The schedule for the hosts is as follows

3.30 - 4:30 pm :Christine
half hour gap
5.-6 pm :Lauren
half hour gap
6. 30 - 7.30pm Tara
half hour gap
8 - 9pm : Erica
half hour gap
9.30 - 10.30 :Lauren
half hour gap
11. - midnight Meryl
half hour gap
00.30 - 1.30 am Z

You can come for all of the time - or some of the time - or just for an hour - its completely up to you...... - Do one layout or many........ - its all in the name of fun and getting lots of layouts done!!!!

This is a great idea. It would be fun if we could do them occassionally through out the year too. But I suppose I should just be grateful for the one and see how it goes, lol.

Now that I've found this, my stress level has skyrocketed. :lol: :lol: I'm so NOT a speedy scrapper and it takes my brain several days to process things and come up with ideas...but...maybe there's an extra chair between Chellie and Evergreen for me to sit in and gawk! :rofl: :rofl:

Dang dang dang dang dang! I missed this! And...I was putzing on the 'puter too and looked at dsp several times but totally forgot about even the speedscrap chat. I'll just have to go back and do it all on my own....

Thanks to the designers, moderators, etc., who put this together. It was a lot of fun and generating so many wonderful layouts. I'll be going to the speedscraps gallery for sure for more inspiration.

Thanks everyone for such a fun day, I had a blast. I've just finished working my way through the gallery. I managed to complete 5 layouts yesterday! That's normally 5 weeks worth :)
