Does anyone scrap on these? My laptop is fried and I was thinking of getting one of these instead. Just wondered how it was.
Thanks!

I have one but I don't scrap on it. The hard drive on ours is really tiny (we got it as a "extra" when we bought another computer). It is great for checking emails on the go or for running a presentation but that's about it. I am sure you can buy them with bigger hard drives because I have friends that use them regularly. You would definitely need to check the specs on your scrapping software and make sure it had enough power to run your software. I personally don't like the keyboard on ours. The keys are smaller and some are in different places. It makes using it a little tricky since I am used to using a regular size keyboard. I have the same problem on my laptop but is not as bad as when I use our netbook. Hope that helps!

If you want to install a program from a DVD, you have to get an external CD/DVD reader. At least the ones I looked at don't have that feature.

My husband has one of the bigger netbooks. 10-inch screen, I think. It's big enough to have a full-size keyboard anyway. It works great for the things he does with it (mostly internet, although it will run PSE), but I think the screen would be a little too small for me to scrap on.

I tried, and my graphic program constantly froze up. It's possible, but it's just very annoying!
And as for DVD/CDs, a lot of sites offer downloads off of there websites, but you still need to have the activation code.
