Herding Bees!!

The Lost Bees are those of us who seem to have wandered off and got lost! We need a reminder thread - a central place to post when we notice someone has got lost and needs a bright light to find their way home.

We miss people when they leave, but sometimes they just drift away and in the busyness of the everyday DSP, sometimes we all don't notice, and that is sad...

So, if you miss someone, post here and we can PM them and let them know they are loved and missed!!

Do any of these names sound familiar? They haven't posted in a while!! If there is someone you particularly connected to, why not pm them and say so! There is nothing that makes you feel more special than having someone reach out and say they miss you. It has been such a blessing from time to time when life has been a bit rough and one of the DSP members has posted to say they miss me.... Do the same for someone YOU miss...

Terrific idea, just recently there was a link to a gallery, I think it was Cathie linking the OOB LOS from way back..whilst scrolling through, I noticed so many names of people who had been a large part of DSP then and we dont see them any more...sad!

Well, Jill, it wasn't exactly off the top of my head - I went to the member list and pulled up a bunch of people who hadn't posted recently and randomly pulled people I recognized their names. There are tons more, I'm sure, but these sort of resonated.

Yes, Leslie, too. I'm not sure why she wasn't on here, I would have recognized her name, but she might have a recent post or two...

I PM'd jestep a while back, I truly miss her wonderful pages and sense of humor. She was really busy at the time but mentioned wanting to come back. I also just saw RoadMap (that's Nicole's mom) at our MOA Crop and told her I missed her too. I think she did a couple of layouts at the crop in August. She was pretty busy too, a job or two I think. I lot of missed people in your list!

RVnFrannie! She and her new hubby were headed to Michigan via the South. I got a message that they were having so much trouble with the new RV that they had hired an attorney and were heading back to Texas. Since then I can't reach her at all.

Also Lizzanne I pass right near her house every time I go to pick my granddaughter up at school. I have tried to call her but she much have her cell phone buried somewhere.

emandlivsmom is a school teacher near me. I saw some posts by her earlier this year (maybe near the end of last school year) but I know she's gonna be SUPER busy right now as all of our kiddos head back to school Thursday!

I'm not trying to track anyone, or stalk them, just let them know we miss them. I don't care if they are CT at another site or are gone from DSP for a good reason, I just care that they KNOW we miss them!!

So if you see anyone on the list, PM them or email them just to say you miss them and WHY!! I'd love to see their happy faces back on the site, for sure, but I'd really like to know that, when they go to bed tonight, they have a warm fuzzy inside because someone misses them!

Another really nice thing to do, to let people know that they are being thought of, is to go into their galleries and comment on some of the older layouts. tt might have been a while, and you may have already commented, but that's okay. Remind them of their talent and how much you'd like to see more of their layouts!

Lynnie! What a wonderful idea! I sort of "lurk" at times and don't post, but I always come back eventually! :D Maybe some of these are like that too! I'm sure I saw Lindyroz here recently - but perhaps it was an old LO. I miss Kim (yvspeck) too, after meeting her last year! Hope she comes back soon.
I love the idea of commenting on the LOs - a flood of nice emails might get them back! :)

I really feel that one of our strengths is our community and the friendships we develop here! I know that when I've been feeling a little out of sorts, it has been the caring of the people here that has really got me through some of them. We have such amazing friendships and we should be there for the people we have come to care for!

Remember yhalos? She was a lovely lady and the Grannies supported her through NKOTB when she started. She suffered from poor health I remember, but I think she either became a CT or a designer elsewhere. When her birthday comes up in the DSP birthday list I usually send her a PM...I will send her one today...just because !

Wen2Tap...a beautiful NZ lady who did amazing LOs, I wonder what she is doing now?

Sallyscrapper!!! When I was a timid little newbie, she was one of the ELITE! and she lived only a half hour from me at that time! I see she made a post in Lauren's thread back in April after being AWOL for 4 years so maybe she is still be interested in digiscrapping.
I will PM her too. I regret so much that I was never able to meet her IRL when we lived so close.

I CT elsewhere, and see many of the other "missing friends" out there in the big digiworld, some as designers, others as CT's and scrappers posting LO's.
Yes, DSP used to be the best place to hang out with friends and I do miss so many of you too.

Gosh I guess it's been so long I have a new computer and Firefox had to ask me if it wanted to remember my password! I do lurk here once in awhile and comment on a layout or two. I do miss DSP, and the Grannies, and Sunday Scrappers, but I am keeping very busy. I design at least 4 kits a month for another site, and I am ve-e-e-ery slow. I manage the building I live in now, and my DD has been going thru a very nasty divorce and I've been her number one supporter, babysitter etc, etc, you all know the story.
Anyway, miss you lots, remember you all with much love, maybe one day I'll 'retire' again and scrap again.

So, is this thread long gone? I see the last post was almost a year ago? I miss ograma (Margo). Last I heard of her was that she went to the Las Vegas crop. We did NKOTB together last year and kind of clicked. I have tried emai g her, PMing her, several times to no avail. I want to let her know we will be down in her area in March and would like to catch up with her. When you go to these events, do people kind of keep in touch afterwards? Have to go see is there is a LV thread.
