I know you can download shapes for PSP 9 and I have downloaded one but now I don't know how I can use it.
I have looked at the shapes several times and can't figure it out. Can anyone give me step by step instructions or know where I can get them?
Thanks

The downloaded shape has to be placed in your preset shape directory (PSP9 has created a directory under My Documents). If you open a shape in PSP it has to be in vector format if you want to export it as a shape. (Like a WMF file), or draw your own vector shapes. There is some information in the PSP Help file about creating and using preset shapes.

You can create your own preset shape by saving any vector object (lines, shapes, or text) and exporting it for subsequent use with the Preset Shape tool. Fonts make shapes -- you can create a vector font letter (especially with dingbats) and go under "objects" and convert it to a single shape, then use the "File, Export, Shape" and export it -- just make sure that you are giving it a new and unique name from your other shapes.
