Wacom Intuos 3 & PSE-9 big problems

I was using PSE-7 and just now have upgraded to PSE-9. Love the layer mask - that itself is worth the upgrade.
I am however having major problems using my Wacom Intuos 3 tablet with PSE-9. The mouse does'nt work at all with the oranizer and has limited use with the editor. I installed and uninstalled PSE-9 twice before I realized the problem was with Wacom mouse. Using a different wireless mouse it works just fine. The only problem seems to be with the mouse - the pen works fine. I did some research on the web and found others with the same problem. For now, I am stuck using another mouse. I hope either Wacom or Adobe fixes this problem soon! Anybody else having issues like this?

When I first used my Bamboo with PSE, Organizer would crash as soon as I touched it and I had no sound with the Editor. Have you updated ALL of your drivers? I wonder if that would help? It did for me.

I had a problem with my Intuos and Windows 7 such that the Intuos didn't always start correctly. I suffered through many restarts before finally calling Wacom. The technician said something like "oh yeah, Windows 7 doesn't play nice with Intuos," and then walked me through the procedure to put the Intuos into a different place in the startup queue. Definitely worth a call to Wacom!

I'm sure there will be plenty that will need it..

I haven't really tried out PSE 9 - I mostly use CS5


but, I did try it out with my Intuos - like you - pen ok - mouse not so good..
