I am just making a simple video of still photos for my daughter to show in her class. In the past I have just used Windows Movie Maker. But seriously, I don't think I have the patience to do that again. It crashes every other minute.

So what I have available to me is Muvee Reveal (it came free with my Seagate EHD) and Corel Video Studio X2.

I started messing around with the Corel program and used the Wizard and it seemed to be pretty easy, but then I saved the file (since I've lost that stuff before in WMM) and now I don't know how to do anything to it.

I can usually figure this stuff out, but I'm struggling.

Any help or suggestions out there??

Christy, I am no help, but I want to know too! One of the things in the Mac world that I lust after is iMovie! There has to be something as simple, with the same polished results for the PC, but I haven't found it!

A good video editing software for the PC is Adobe Premiere Elements; it's the baby brother/sister of the high end Adobe Premiere the pros use. It's very easy to work, and you can export your movie for DVD, Window Media Player, and other devices. I know both programs very well and can help if you need.
**Another idea if you're going to show the pictures on a computer and you have PowerPoint you can also do a wonderful slideshow with that program, including sound/music.**

I have done movies in Muvee before with great results. But that was a few years ago so I can only imagine it's improved since then.

I've thought about Premiere Elements but I really can't spend any money now. . .
