Hi!

Does anyone know how to make waterdrops in DIP 9? Here (http://escrappers.com/waterdroppse.html) is the tutorial for PS(e) but I need it for DIP.

Thanx!

I don't use DIP. Hopefully someone will be along soon who does. That particular tutorial doesn't seem to actually show you how to make the actual waterdrop itself.

The idea is to make something that looks transparent, looks like it has some thickness, and some gloss.

Start with a round object. It will be easier. If DIP has the ability to do so, try to use a contour and emboss tool to create the thickness. You also need a way to put a highlight on the object, and you need to make it less opaque so what is under it can show through.

You might find this Photoshop tutorial (http://www.pslover.com/click/3158) a bit easier to follow, even if you can't do all the steps. I couldn't find a DIP tutorial.

I made some glass poemstone-like things last week. I used the demo version of eyecandy 4000. I chose "glass" and just played around with it until I got what I liked.

DIP has so many neat filters, isn't there one for this type of thing?
