I've been MIA for the last bit trying to get our bsmt finished for company we were having this weekend. Dh was in a paintball tourney and that's what these people were coming down for. Well, paintball was done, we had a giant bbq for the team, etc. had a great time. We were all so pooped we turned in at 10 pm, only to be woke up at 11:20 by the phone ringing. It was my company's brother saying their house had burnt to the ground. We're all in shock and completely devastated for them. If you'd be so kind to keep them in your prayers, if you believe in that sort of thing, I'd be so appreciative.
Stace.

That is probably one of the hardest things to deal with (other than a death) The loss can sometimes feel like that of a death...but the blessing that often comes from it is your true appreciation for one another...a realization that all the "things" you thought you loved or that meant so much to you aren't so important it is those people that you love, the ones that you hold so dear...and you cherish them more!!
God Bless !!

Oh no.. many prayers your friends way. I know all to well how hard this is to deal with. We lost our house 2 days before christmas 13 years ago. Its so hard, but we got out, got my pets out, all we lost was STUFF, which at the time was hard, but eventually the STUFF was replaced. Thank goodness no one was home.
