Hi you all!

Since i am quite new to this all I was wondering if it is possible to create your own font and save it.

And if it is, how do I do it?

I am hoping there is some way, because I would like to create my own font so I don'thave problems with the copyright thing when I put it on DH company Logo...

Thanks a bunch in advance!!

Dagi

Well, since there are people who do create fonts, it must be possible to do it.

I don't know how, but I'm pretty good at Google searches. I came up with this page (http://www.high-logic.com/fcp.html) where they have a program called Font Creator. It is shareware so you can try it before you buy it. It costs US$65.

Enjoy!

Well, I checked their site again and apparently it is $9.00 US but when the did it for free a while back it was REALLY REALLY easy and I have a couple of fonts that are cool that are just my handwriting...or i guess my made up handwriting. It is SUPER easy to do

When looking at fonts on the Internet, you can find many with no copyright restrictions. This link (http://www.fontface.com/tools/creation.html) has some suggestions, with prices, for programs to create your own. I purchased a program at a software store several years ago, but then my handwriting font didn't work with Windows XP. Font Creator did fix that problem, but I haven't created any additional fonts. What my first program did was give me a graph to write my alphabet into and then I scanned it. But there is a lot of clean-up work before this was readable.
