I am using PSE 2 and trying to use a watercolor brush to paint inside a dingbat that I want to color and be able to use as an element. Because of my screen size and the size of the image I am magnifying the image quite a bit to be able to paint within the lines. The problem I run into is that when I want to scroll up to see more of the image to continue painting I essentially have to start a new stroke and thus get this overlapping lines of watercolor where I started a new stroke. Is there a way that I can continue painting while also being able to scroll up and see the rest of the image?

Any suggestions on how I can do this, or another way that I can color in a dingbat with a similar effect would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your welcome advice!

Have you tried hoding down the spacebar which will give you a little hand tool so you can click and pull yourself to a new area. This works with selection tools. When you release the spacebar the selection tool goes back to exactly the place where you left off. I have NOT tried this with a paintbrush.

This wonderful space bar trick does work with a brush - I often wondered how I managed before I knew it :)
You need to be in full screen mode - CS it is the middle one of the 3 icons, 2nd from the bottom for it to work well.
