Have you seen the Relay For Life event we're supporting?? Check it out here! (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/place/relay.shtml) Scrapbooking for 24 hours straight!!!!! Doesn't that just sound like a wonderful dream?? Well I'm personally doing this and I invite you to join me, in spirit and in pocketbook! :D I did it last year too, actually took my whole desktop and printer!! Fortunately this year, it's a laptop for me! It's a big gathering of scrappers and stampers and a ton of fun. Some stay for a few hours and go in shifts, making sure someone is always scrapping. Not a problem though, as I'm staying for the FULL 24 HOURS again this year!!!
But we're raising money for the American Cancer Society and we invite you to donate to this cause. It's very close to my heart as a friend and my mother-in-law just had a clash with cancer and kicked it's butt!!!!! But it wasn't an easy fight of course and we probably all have loved ones dealing with this.

Margie, I cannot be in Ohio but I am supporting them from San Antonio, TX.
I lost my parents and grandparents with cancers and cancer is always in my mind for the rest of my life.

I am supporting as much as I can so more people can survive from the battles that my loving people lost.

We just went to our Countywide Relay for Life fundraising last weekend. It was really great!! Emotional when the survivors started things off with their walk...but much fun getting to raise all that $$. :D :D

Thanks soooo much to everyone who donated to this wonderful event!! Our team ended up raising over $1,700!!!!!!! Margie stayed awake and scrapped on a laptop for the full 24 hours! She did 9 full sized layouts and 24 mini pages (4x6) for her son's bedtime story book! :eek:
