Can some one tell me if there is any way to get the CK Cursive font besides having to purchase it?

Is there another font that is free that is similar to the CK cursive one?

Thanks,
Jheri

nope, it's a pay font from creatingkeepsakes.com. i don't know of one that looks similar either. i'd do a search for handwriting fonts and maybe you can find a scripty one that you can spread out in your program though? :)

I know of one other sorta similar one, commercial, 2peas Piano Recital

CK Cursive is so unique, no freebies that even come close!

Do you have to buy a CD or can you buy just one font and download it?

I was lucky enough to get CK Cursive when they were offering it for free a few months ago (along with a half a dozen other fonts). Keep an eye on the CK site this Saturday (National Scrapbooking Day) - they are apparently having some font giveaways again. Who knows - you could get lucky!

creativekeepsakes.com does have 3 free fonts to download today national scrapbook day. not the handwriting one, but i've found other fonts i've gotten from them, i use often, so i expect these will get good use as well.

cursive (joined) fonts are suuuuuper hard to make - so they are well worth a small investment... also, please please remember that it takes hours (HOURS) to create a font... i know free is good, but if someone spent those hours creating... is really the same as walking out of a scrapbooking store with a page kit without having paid... man, i HATE sounding so preachy... but believe me, a font takes longer sometimes than a page kit to do well, and i feel badly when the person who spent that time doesn't get compensated.

that said, there are lots of legitimately free fonts available. a really good site is dafont.com, and there are even some free fonts available here... also, fonts happen to be on SALE here, too... ;)
