Wonder of the Week Poll - October Week 1
Help choose a layout for Wonder of the Week! Layouts selected by various DET and Designers from nominations in WEEKLY WONDERS: October 1st - 7th (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=50800)
Winning layout will be featured on the DSP Homepage (http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/) for one week.
Vote for Wonder of the Week! You may vote for more than one layout.
Poll will close Sunday October 9 at midnight.

I really love this whole Wonder of the Week! It's such a great idea.
I was wondering though why not all the LOs in the week's thread are in the poll?
just-pjz there were over 20 entries in the last Weekly Wonder thread, that is far too many for a reasonable poll, especially one held for such a short time frame. Ten is really too many but we will try it for this week. The layout has to be posted on the homepage on Monday so that doesn't give a lot of time to vote and when there are too many options the votes get spread very thin, which doesn't really give an accurate result. This is also why there is multiply votes allowed. I hope people understand this. I put a note to explain at the bottom of the new weekly thread. If this upsets people we can try all of them but the amount of entries varies every week and that could end up being a very unwieldy poll.

Mars, I like the way you did the poll.
Where you only put the layouts in - not the ds Peeps name
that makes voting about the best layout - not a popularity contest... I'm sure some people know whose layout belongs to whom.
but, for the most part, we are voting for the layout we think is the best one..
I wish more polls/ voting contests were run this way - by taking the user name out.. so that the BEST layout wins - not the most popular user!

I just love voting polls and I think this is just an awesome way to do this... but how do I choose! lol! :D
