I am soooo happy with this kit. It is so gorgeous and so versatile. I used it for the only photo I have of my parents' wedding and it made a poor quality photo look quite elegant. I had my mother write a note about the wedding and was happy to see that the overlay worked well with that scan. If you wish, you can see it here: http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=34677

I sooo appreciate the high quality of the designers, site owners, and member participation. Thank you!

I saw, and commented, on your layout before I saw this post. The layout is indeed lovely, and with the special addition of your mother's hand written account, I think it would be nice to feature it on the top layer. You have created a very lovely layout.

great page! yep, lauren's pretty awesome! all of the designers are, they're the best! it doesn't really encourage me to keep practicing my skills though, when i have all these great products to use!! instead of working on something, i just search for it or ask for it! so much easier on me. :)

One of the things I am beginning to learn is that I DO NOT have to make everything myself. There are wonderful kits out there and I can use them to make wonderful pages.

That doesn't mean that I don't want to learn new techniques. There are some things I will probably always make myself. This particular kit by Lauren definately did make an awful photo look like a wonderful layout. And that is a very good thing, because it was the ONLY photo of that time, place and situation. I'm going to keep it in mind for the next time I'm in that situation.

When I started digital scrapping, I was going to make EVERYthing. Ha! Though I like the challenge of creating myself, it's just as creative, I believe, to use our designers' kits. It's a challenge of a different sort. To me, I see their beautiful work, and it inspires me to make my layout match their creativity and talent.

I love using the kits. It gives me such a head start. I can still add things or modify what's in the kit, but I'd get very few pages done without the kits nor with as much variety.
