I have on occasion purchased magazines for inspiration - especially when I've been stuck or needed something to read on a long trip.

The problem now though is that I have run out of room to keep/store these (and other mags of different topics) and I need to cull the collection.

What do I do?

Rip out and keep individual pages
Scan the pages
Take a photo of the page and scrap it
Make notes or a sketch of the layout
Something else

I used to rip out pages and keep a folder. Threw it away with all the other idea folders I had and never used. :D

I rip out pages and cut out photos and stick them in an inspiration book that I only look at very occasionally. :)

Give them away to fellow scrappers or donate them to a charity store for resale.

Be realistic about whether you will actually use them.

I'm wondering the same thing. I think I have room for a couple of more years, but...

SInce I am a magazine junkie, I have designated a place in my house and that is all can keep. When they don't fit they have to go. The scrapbooking magazines I give away to a friend. I feel that will be the best use for them.

I get Living by Martha Stewart. That one I Do rip out pages and recycle the rest. Only because I don't have anyone interested in them and I do like her recipes. I only keep the ones I have actually tried. I also let me daughter pick some things to do next year in that season and I keep it for that year after which wether they have been done or not they get disposed of. You can find anything online anyway.

I was keeping everything but then you get overwhelmed and I probably won't go back to them. Atleast I haven't yet. I did buy a couple magazines that have homemade gifts that I do go back to so those I have kept complete.
