Hi everyone,

I was wondering if you were going to be adding any more DIP9 classes? There seem to be so many tutorials for PSP and PS but not for DIP - I've actually noticed this on several websites. This is, by far, my favorite website and since I'm visiting every day, I'd love to take as many classes as I can. Thanks!

Absolutely Andrea! Is there anything specific you would like to see?

HI Amanda! Since I'm just learning, I don't know enough to be aware of what techniques I'm missing out on (does that make any sense?). But PSP & PS have so many classes that I was wondering if some of those same classes could be done for DIP9? For instance, maybe collage/montage, stitching, metal embossing, lighting effects, etc.? Also, I remember reading about a porcelain mask effect on the yahoo group - can that be done for DIP9? I read through some of the PSP & PS classes, thinking I could just follow along in DIP9 but there are several commands/options that I don't know how to translate to DIP9. Thanks for even considering this!

I know nothing about DIP, but my advice to any scrapper would be

1) Google tutorials: I find so much good info on the web

2) Get a book by the guru: even for Photoshop, which has so many resources, a few good books have been wonderful for me!

Of course DSP will work on getting a huge repository of DIP resources specifically for scrapbooking, in the meantime just wanted you to be aware of the huge amount of information available on the web or library.

And start keeping a list of techniques you want to learn near your computer as you scrap. Then send requests and Google things. You could also start a thread here just for DIP favorites from other users: web sites with tutorials, good books, and downloadable graphics and plugins.

Have fun!

You just gave a great list of technique requests though, Tina's going to be busy! :p
