View Full Version : PSP is wigging out on me

Since Tuesday, sometimes when I save a layout I get the message, "Because of the file limitations (and possibly the way you've selected to save) any unsupported vector data will be lost. Do you want to continue?" Not every layout has this message.

Today, the message began the same way, but said, "Your group data will be merged." I have two mask layers. I guess it would be okay to merge, but I'm saving the same as I always do, as pspimage. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

Oh, in this same layout when I drag png files from the browser the background is not transparent. Something is really flaky and I hope it's not ME!

for transparency, try this tutorial
http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/university/tutorials/psp_transparentPNG_ep.shtml

I don't know about the other issue; try saving as psp instead of pspimage?

Emma, what would I have done since last night to change 100% of the elements in all my kits from transparent to white? I can resave, but it will take days.

no, don't resave, just change the PNG option in File Format prefs (did you read the tutorial ;)?)

oh, I meant the image/layout you're trying to save as a pspimage; use psp format instead? worth a try

Yes, I read it last night actually because I had made some elements that I wanted to save, and re-looked at the tut before posting. My box is checked.

try unchecking it. Sometimes it freaks out and wants it to be unchecked
