Templates / Page Kits

I think I understand the difference between templates and page kits, but could someone please confirm? A template is program specific, while a page kit is in jpg and png format?

Yes that is right - a template is programme specific and it includes all the pieces in place all on separate layers - the kit is just the pieces in generic png/jpg format
