I just had to let you know about my recent purchase... a battery operated cd burner that takes camera memory cards ! Apacer Disc Steno ! I just plug my memory card into the box, insert a cdr or cdrw and push a button. 5mins later my pics are on a cd. It has a rechargable battery, a car adapter, and wall plug. No more worry about filling up my memory cards while away from home ! I LOVE IT ! oh yeah, it also has a usb cable so you can hook it up to a computer as an external cd burner/card reader

is that cool or what?
I got mine on ebay. The cp100 is the older model which is what I bought. The cp200 has the ability to hook up to a tv, more info during the burning process, and I believe it comes with a remote. All the reviews that I found online were great so this one is too :)

now that I've got mine I want to tell the world..... go get one !
hugs, tlc

I read about these in my digital camera magazine and wanted one so bad but at $400NZ they are way above my budget - I read today of a portable hard drive just for digital photography too - simply slot in your memory card and use the lcd screen to copy to the 30gig 2.5 inch hard drive - way cool and I want one but they will also have to drop significantly in price!!!!
