Did you make the live FotoFusion event? I must say I'm very impressed with the ease of use and how much thought went into the controls. Kept thinking, why can't Adobe do that with Photoshop?! Thanks so much to Michael Sheasby for explaining it so well! If you missed it, I'd definitely recommend hopping over to www.lumapix.com and downloading a trial version to check it out yourself. I'm sure they'll archive the audio so you can follow along later. If not, don't worry, we'll have Michael here for a FotoFusion chat soon hopefully! :)

I thought some of his explanations a little too fast and too technical. But most of it was really good. I also had a problem with understanding him on my system, could be the dial-up connection and the fact that we had storms in the area. But I got enough to be able to navigate the program and experiment. Looking forward to a chat with him after I get a little more familiar with the program.

Yep, a chat will be great. More time for questions and answers. I got lost once, but I went off exploring on my own and tried to listen too. :D but for someone with one hour to explain a whole program, I thought he did very well! No way someone could do Photoshop so quickly!! :D It'll be more fun to experiment now that I have the basics down. Quite the time saver to learning it myself!

I was un able to attend the chat yesterday...Were they able to explain (or could someone here) the differences in Pro vs Standard editions?

How would the differences apply to digital scrapbooking?

Thanks!

I was so upset that I didnt get to attend yesterday- our stupid internet connection was down for most of the night. I really hope that he will do this again or there is a transcript of the chat last night!

I haven't seen a transcript yet, but he did say a few times "if you're listening to this on Wed June 2" which would imply the ability to listen to it later on. We'll post when they do add this!
And for standard vs pro, I didn't pay attention if he did discuss that (as I was exploring the program), but they have a page that explains it pretty well here:

I've been using Fotofusion for about a year now to do my "quick pages"... you know those times you get back with a load of photos and you just want to share them quick on the refrigerator?

Anyways, I got a beta version about a month ago and have really enjoyed it's new capabilities. They really listed to us. One of the uses I've found is to make templates and file them by number of photos. No longer a notebook with hand drawn LOs for reference.

I recently used it to put together some quick pages for a friends anniversary. I used their new background feature making their invitation a background with pictures of them overlaid to it. Went over great.

It's not PS, but then it doesn't cost that much. Anyone looking to do simple layouts, or just begining, this is the way to go!

Susan.
