Maybe this is only new to me but maybe others were not aware of it either.
XP has a hidden program that allows you to alter any of the characters of the fonts in your windows folder or to even create your own characters. Go to http://www.masteryourcomputer.com/
and under "Tips 'N Tricks" click on the link for "Such a Character! - Private Character Editor" and it will give you screen shots. Note that it says there will be more info on the program in future issues of the Learning Curve newsletter. I think this is so awesome and can't figure out why Microsoft includes these neat things and then decides to hide them.
