Layout Sketches

Hey everyone,

I used to belong to a great little group called the Layout Sketch Exchange. We'd make up sketches of new layouts and exchange them (d-uh!) :)

About 6 months ago the host closed the group and I've been suffering from lack of inspiration ever since. I've seen some great LO in the monthly contest but was wondering if anyone had a good place to exchange LO or perhaps even add in a special room for LO Sketch exchanges within DSP.

what fun group you were in... I'm sure we could all use that kind of insperation! I know DSP does a monthly sketch contest... maybe there could be a member challenge or chat for posting sketches and put them in the gallery. I know Emma's looking for members to host chats you should think about offering to host one! ;d

I would love a sketch exchange? Now, I just need to learn how to make the sketches! I love the ones that are obviously computer generated. Is there a certain program that's good for it, or can you do it easily in any program?

I agree with Andy! Would love to be a part of that. But I too am not sure how you generate those great sketches. I can do mine on paper, but the computer generated ones look so cool.

Just FYI, don't know if you've found it already, but there are about 40 or so LO sketches in the Gallery.

You just click Gallery > Help > Inspiration > Sketches and there are about 3 pages of them. I am ALWAYS going here for inspiration, it's a great resource. :D
