Hi, I am just starting by experimenting with PSP 9 and makind scrapbook pages. The other day when I got finished and clicked out of PSP, a box popped up and said there was alot on the clipboard and did I want to save it. Is there a way to turn off the clipboard or is that normal. I have used PSP 7 for a very long time and as much as I have done on that program, I have never had that warning come up. Any suggestions? BTW....I am really loving this alot!!!!

When ever you copy and paste things they use the clipboard, its like a temporary storage area. PSP is just making sure you want to keep the clipboard contents to move to another program. Most of the time you don't so just tell PSP to discard it.

That is perfectly normal! I think there is a way to turn that warning off, but I don't know how. most likely in the preferences set up. Personally I like it because it reminds to to empty it. some of the files are pretty big and it helps the system to have it emptied.
Have a great day!

:) Yes, it can be turned off.
Go to File --> Preferences --> General Program Preferences --> Miscellaneous (tab) --> then in the drop-down menu next to 'Clipboard data on Exit', select 'delete'.
HTH!

Turning the warning off is your call, but you definately do not want to turn off the clipboard since it is a basic Windows function. You don't realize you are using it all the time, but you are and you need to be able to use it or your programs will not work.
