Lauren I need some element help!

Ok I'm wanting to make some beads for a L.O I'm working on & found a simple tutorial under the quick classes section here. I had a go but as soon as I come to select filters>render>lens flair to start & give the circle some form the option won't allow me to click onto it. What am I doing wrong? I'm working in Photoshop 7 just incase anyone needs to know.

are you in rgb mode? some filters won't work if you're in cmyk for some reason. under image, mode i think. or edit, mode. one of the first few anyway! :D

Hi Emma,
if I were to make beads I would use the radial gradient tool and dodge tool.email me sis if you want to know exactly how I do it.You cna always ask me if your not sure about something ,I will help you if I can.
I thought maybe this bead may be to pearly but this is what you can achieve with the gradient and dodge tool
made this in about a min so please excuse the shading ,it's not perfect :o
